We were practicing for competitions so we all can be prepared to win. After creating small routines for each of us, we decided to put on a show for the swing dance scene. We put on a competition judged by the crown to display our hard work and make it real competition.

What a great performance opportunity. They were so excited to see professional swing dancers rock it out. This event was full of great vintage costumes and excellent live music by Bobs Big Band and Tommy Price &  The Stilettos.

I finally had a Monday night off to see one of my favorite Gypsy Jazz Bands, "Impromptu" At Appaloosa grill. It was a lot of fun dancing with Jes to some great swing music. The crowd and the restaurant loved us. We even got our drinks free.

1940s White Christmas Ball 2012 Performance and Dance.

Once again another fun filled 1940s White Christmas ball. Full of dance performances, contests, excellent vintage music, lots of . I had yet another great performance with 23 Skidoo. We have been working on this routine since March and now were finally able to show it off. The dance was fun too I participated in a Pro/Am Lindy Hop competition. This is where the dance pros dance with anyone from the crowd. I was one of the pros. My job was to make the participant look good so they could win. Hey and guess what, the gal I danced with won. Her name is Gabriella Yates. We danced well and did some cool aerials that won the crowd.  The night continued to be fun as I danced all night with all of my friends, new and old.

23 Skidoo - It Don't Mean a Thing/ Bugle Call Rag Performance

We worked so hard this season on a routine that seamed impossible. It was so dynamic with complex moves, formations, and dancing in many directions. We nailed this routine in the end and had many great performances. I am proud of myself and the coolest dance partner who struggled with me through a second season. Thank You Lindsey Kruger. The routine was fun, cool to watch, and everyone loved us.

30th Anniversary of 16th Street Mall in Denver

16th Street mall connects many childhood memories of mine. Seeing it change and grow over the years has been an amazing experience. It is always full of life with shops, street vendors, and street performers. We were asked to perform a Lindy Hop Dance routine for the celebration of 16th Street Malls 30th Anniversary. We performed the Big Cal Routine.
