5-Points Jazz Festival

Once again our community was asked to organize a flash mob. This time at the 5-points Jazz Festival.

Official Video From  CM Dance

This event happens once a year in the 5-points area of Denver. This area was known to be Denver's heart of jazz back in the day and now we celebrate it every year in that very spot.

Like the Airport flash mob, CM Dance choreographed a great routine and we all rehearsed it for about a month. After it was perfect we performed it in front of hundreds of unsuspecting onlookers. I turned out perfect.

After it was done I stuck around and enjoyed some great food and good live music. I even had a really great dance with a beautiful girl.

Dance Performance at "The Titanic Memorial" In Denver

I was asked to perform with Victor and Margaret from the Turnvrein at the Titanic Memorial "Solute the Seniors" event with them and another couple named LeighAnn and Steve (who dance very well).  I asked my good friend and favorite Lindy Hop dance partner Marlea to perform with me. Each couple was asked to perform 2 during two songs of their choice. We could either have a routine or just dance freestyle, Marlea and I chose to dance freestyle. I of course picked two of my favorite swing songs.

Posin' Freestyle Lindy Hope Performance

My adrenaline and heart rate was high as I our next performance came shortly after the first.

Shorty George' Freestyle Lindy Hope Performance

After we all performed to our songs, we all went on stage to perform the awesome jazz routine "The Shim Sham"

We made so many peoples day that day and they showed us their appreciation with cheers and compliments.

Rockabilly Paintings Sneak Previews

Not dance related and I wasn't going to show these until they're done but I need to finish them so showing y'all will light the fire under my bum. Unfinished but will be awesome when completed.

Inspired by song written  by my good friend Amie.
